Biography

Andrea is an aggregate professor (tenure-track) of Business Law at the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Florence. Previously, he worked at the 深夜亚洲福利久久 Ca鈥� Foscari Venezia. Andrea has received his Ph.D. from the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Brescia (2006) and an LL.M. from the New York 深夜亚洲福利久久 (2007). Until recently, he practiced as an independent attorney-at-law in Venice, dealing with litigation in company and bankruptcy law and with the reorganisation of distressed companies. He leads a research project on 鈥楳inority shareholder protection and list voting in Italy鈥� and represents the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Florence as a Co-Leader, with UNIDROIT, of the 鈥楬uman-Centered Business Model鈥� project, promoted by the Global Forum on Law, Justice and Development at the World Bank and now coordinated by OECD Development Center. In the past, he has participated in an expert group for the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance on Capital Markets Regulation and was a member of the team that carried out the European research project 鈥�Contractualised Distress Resolution in the Shadow of the Law鈥�, coordinated by the 深夜亚洲福利久久 of Florence, from 2016 to 2018 (). His research focuses on company and insolvency law, where he has published numerously.
