Ireland's Fossil Heritage
Since 2019, the UCC Palaeo Group has run the Ireland鈥檚 Fossil Heritage programme, which aims to inform the public about the rich fossil heritage of Ireland. As part of the programme, we deliver:
- Interactive school workshops for primary and second-level students that are linked to the curriculum
- Hands-on exhibits at public festivals, including Cork Carnival of Science
- An interactive workshop for Leaving Certificate students on careers in geoscience 鈥 鈥淭he GeoRoadshow鈥
