2 X PhD by Research Positions: Research Ireland Project Project Title: SHIELD: Intelligent Reflecting Surface for Enhanced Integrated Sensing and Communication to Protect Vulnerable Road Users Applications are invited for two fully-funded PhD Studentships to join our research team at the nasc Research Centre, with an anticipated start date of March 2026. Each position is for 48 months,  fully-funded PhD (Tax-free stipend of €25,000 p.a. and tuition fees covered at the EU rate,) which will be based at the School of Computer Science and Information Technology in ��ҹ���޸����þ� College Cork in the nasc research centre.

Congratulations to Qamar Usman, an Advance CRT PhD student (co-supervised by Aisling O’ Driscoll and Cormac Sreenan) and Ahmed Abdelreheem, a postdoctoral researcher (under Ahmed Zahran and Cormac Sreenan) who took part in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) “Breaking Barriers for Agentic Networks” event in conjunction with the Telecom Infra project.
