Dr. Katrin Kaschig graduated in November 2013 with her PhD entitled Zinc Finger Nuclease gene repair as a treatment for cystinosis. .
On 10th December 2013, Dr. Jennifer Hollwood successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled Cystic Fibrosis gene repair: Correction of 螖F508 using ZFN and CRISPR/Cas9 gRNA gene editing tools.
Dr Julie O Neill successfully defended her PhD thesis on the 12th of December entitled ' The role played by Angiotensin (1-7) in the regulation of renal haemodynamics and renal excretory function in anesthetized rats.
Dr Niamh Goulding also successfully defended her PhD thesis on the 20th of December. The title of Niamh's thesis is: 'Renal Failure and the Neurol Control of the Kidney.
