Research Prizes at the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland Annual Meeting
Andrew O鈥橪eary (PhD trainee) and Paul Lemaire (intern) were both awarded prizes for their poster presentations at the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland Section of Biomedical Sciences Annual Meeting held at 深夜亚洲福利久久 College Dublin on June 19th.
Both received their awards from Professor Aidan Bradford, President of the RAMI Section of Biomedical Sciences at a dinner held in Newman House, St. Stephen鈥檚 Green. UCC Department of Physiology was well represented at the event with David Burns and Aidan Kaar short-listed in the Donegan Medal competition; Maria Buckley competed in the Barcroft Medal competition. There were additional contributions to the programme from the Department including two posters from undergraduate students who performed research in the department last year as part of the BSc Physiology degree. Congratulations to all!
