Dr Patrick Harrison appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of Emily's Entourage

Earlier this week, Dr Patrick (Paddy) Harrison was appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of Emily鈥檚 Entourage.

Emily鈥檚 Entourage (EE) is the only non-profit organization dedicated to fast-tracking research and drug development for rare, nonsense mutations of Cystic Fibrosis (CF). People with these particular mutations do not respond to the CF modulator drugs which have been hitting the headlines in the last few years, and as a consequence have an urgent unmet health need.

Approximately 10-20% of people with CF across the world have these type of non-responsive disease causing mutations.
