The 2nd UCC Student Forum
The inaugural UCC Student Forum took place on Monday 20th November 2023.
The purpose of the Forum is to 鈥�...capture the inclusive student voice, representative of our diverse student population鈥� as set out in Action 3.3.3 of the Strategic Plan, UCC 2022.
It is an exercise in deliberative and participatory democracy that brings together a group of individuals to learn about, discuss, and deliberate on a complex student issue or opportunity, and then give a considered opinion on what should happen. It places students at the heart of important strategic and policy issues facing UCC as a community and provides a richer understanding of 鈥榟igh level鈥� queries, rather than one to one interviews or surveys thus leading to more contextualised and developed responses by UCC.
