For those working in administrative positions in universities who wish to join a general English group class in the mornings with aim of improving in all language skills for personal or professional purposes, and then join a closed-group with other university administrative staff in afternoons from, 2- 3.45. You will improve overall English language communication skills specific to a professional workplace.

English for Work and Life + Irish Culture

This  course helps participants develop overall English ability, with a strong focus on speaking and communication for real-life situations, in small international classes on UCC’s campus in Cork. Morning language classes are combined with two interactive afternoon sessions exploring Irish culture, history, and identity, supporting both language development and cultural understanding.

This programme can be tailored to meet specific requirements of individual students or groups of students. Typically, it involves an online delivery of content prior to arriving in UCC, followed by a period of integrated in existing groups or closed group teaching.
