Creative public workshop. 

The workshop will encourage engagement with research questions relating to Anti-discrimination rights in relation to post-colonial identities in Northern Ireland and Ukraine.

This hybrid seminar, 'The Pandemic as a Litmus Test for EU Anti-Discrimination Law - Debating Change' will be held at 16:15, Thursday 14th March, 2024.

Location: North Wing Council Room, Main Campus, Cork and online via MS Teams

The European Citizens' Initiative is to empower direct democracy. Yet the ECI on the Unconditional Basic Income failed. Why?

This event will look at whether it is possible to theorise the role of rights in EU foreign policy, thus contributing, from a legal perspective, to political science literature. It will focus on non-EU countries outside the European Neighbourhood Policy. 

The Covid19 crisis and the response of the European Union institutions raises serious questions about free movement, the Schengen area of internal movement, the role of Union law and institutions in the management of crisis and the robustness of Union citizenship. The seminar will address these questions, including the broader role of Union citizenship in times of crisis.  Speakers include Professor Daniel Thym, ��ҹ���޸����þ� of Konstanz, Dr Nathan Cambien, ��ҹ���޸����þ� of Antwerp and Professor Dora Kostakopoulou, KU Leuven.
