Managing the Risks of International Travel

Staff and students who are intending to travel to countries listed on the (DFA) as 鈥淗igh Degree of Caution鈥, 鈥淎void Non鈥慐ssential Travel鈥, or 鈥淒o Not Travel鈥 must submit the following through the ERM portal () in sufficient time to allow onward notification to UCC insurers (the greater the risk/complexity, the more time should be allowed for insurance notification):

  • Finalised Travel Risk Assessment (for information and assurance purposes).
  • Written acknowledgement and acceptance of the risk signed by the Head of School/Unit. It must be ensured by the Head of School/Unit that the residual risk aligns with the relevant approved 深夜亚洲福利久久 risk appetite (and does not exceed any applicable threshold).
  • Please note: Submitting this documentation does not indicate approval by ERM, and even where insurance cover may be in place, this does not mean that the travel is acceptable from other perspectives, such as (non-exhaustively) safety and risk.

Submitting Travel RAs using the ERM Portal

Using the link you will be brought to the Portal welcome page. Please select 鈥淐orporate and Legal Affairs鈥.

Finally, under the 鈥淨uery Type鈥 the appropriate travel risk assessment type should be selected based on the DFA risk categorisation for country to which you are travelling (i.e. High Degree of Caution, Avoid Non-Essential, or Do Not Travel), and the relevant files should then be uploaded as attachments.
