Six early career researchers from the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science have been awarded postgraduate research scholarships through the Research Ireland Enterprise Partnership Scheme.

Researchers from the School of Chemistry and Sustainability Institute, ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork (UCC) are leading efforts to understand the sources of air pollution in towns across Ireland.  

A new €300,000 research project at ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork (UCC) will strengthen the scientific foundations underpinning Ireland’s offshore wind ambitions. 

Early-career researchers at ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork (UCC) have received a combined €4.3m in research funding in the 2025 Government of Ireland (GOI) Postdoctoral Fellowship and Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship awards.

Dairygold Co-Operative Society has awarded two undergraduate bursaries to students undertaking the Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree at ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork (UCC).

Professor Marcel Jansen, School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork (UCC), has been awarded the prestigious title of “Doctor et Professor Honoris Causa” by the ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã of Pécs, Hungary.
