UCC students, staff and researchers are invited to join. Participants can choose to sign up for individual workshops on these days.

Our Year In Review: A ‘Unique’ (UNIC) Reflection by UCC’s Student Representatives

As our time as UCC’s student representatives on the UNIC Student Board draws to a close, we are afforded some time to pause and reflect on what this has meant for us — both as UCC students and global citizens.

Thursday 6th October at 10:15 -11:15 CET / 9.15 - 10.15 (IST). Lyndsey ElAmoud from ACE, UCC will present at this workshop on the subject of Micro-credentials. In her presentation, Lyndsey will explore the current practice at ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork, where micro-credentials represent a short learning experience that responds to societal and economic needs and provides proof of learning from a university. The presentation will demonstrate the benefits and opportunities that micro-credentials present for the individual learner in the context of lifelong learning education and training provision.

UNIC Superdiversity School – Enacting Superdiversity: Towards Critical Change in Higher Education

ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork (UCC) hosted an online Superdiversity School in May 2022 (17th-19th) as part of the UNIC initiative. The School is the latest in a series of events being held under the UNIC Superdiversity Academy (WP4), and a total of six Schools are planned for the duration of the project across partner institutions.

UNIC Teacher Training - Intercultural Dialogue: collaborative teaching and learning in international settings
In the workshop, you will meet teachers of partner universities of the UNIC-Alliance and familiarise yourself with Virtual Exchange (resp. COIL). You will collaborate to create a Virtual Exchange setting for your students.

Scholarship available for prestigious virtual leadership course at Koc ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã
