UCC's Centre for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL) is pleased to share details of a new position of ‘Teaching and Mobility Support Officer’. 

The Deputy President and Registrar's office, ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork, played host to a visiting group of managers from the Education & Student Affairs unit of Erasmus ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã Rotterdam on October 14th to 15th, 2024. 

A delegation of ten participants from UCC, the Cork Public Participation Network and Cork City Council contributed to the UNIC working conference at the ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã of Oulu, Finland, on the 24-26 September 2024.

Patricia Finucane, Marketing and Communications Manager in the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science at ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork, recently represented UCC at the UNIC Staff Week hosted by the ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã of Liège, Belgium. Patricia travelled on an Erasmus+ training visit.

Pooja Priya, ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork doctoral researcher in the Department of Sociology, participated in the Summer School on Urban Migration offered by MiReKoc (Migration Research Center) at Koç ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã Istanbul, 3-14 June 2024.

The Office of the Vice President for Learning and Teaching, in collaboration with UNIC, is delighted to launch a call to UCC staff members for Virtual and International Educational Projects – the VIP Fund. All UCC staff involved in teaching and the support of student learning are eligible to apply.  

Postgraduate students on the unique interdisciplinary joint Masters programme Redesigning the Post-Industrial City (RePIC) recently explored Malmö as part of a week-long CityLab.

Deputy President and Registrar Prof. Stephen Byrne represented ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã College Cork at a special in-person meeting of the UNIC Management Board at Erasmus ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã Rotterdam (EUR) on August 28, 2024.
