General Information
- Students wishing to book accommodation for the 2026/2027 Academic Year will have one month to make an application. Rooms will be allocated by a random selection LOTTERY. Applications open February 9th, 2026 and applicants will have 1 month to complete their application to be included in the accommodation lottery. A Booking Deposit is not required to make an Application. Your Application will be included in the random selection LOTTERY once it is received during the application period.
- Please note that at the time of application you will be required to supply a valid student or CAO number and confirm that you are planning to study at UCC. Rooms will be offered to successful applicants by email in the first round of the Lottery. Successful applicants must accept room offers within one week by email and pay the Booking Deposit of €300 to confirm. Once the initial room offers have been made, all remaining applications will remain active. As cancellations come in during the summer and are processed, up to the beginning of the Academic Year, the Lottery continues and rooms are offered to students on the still waiting for accommodation. Applications can be made through the Accommodation Portal which will be available on the UCC Campus Accommodation pages during the 1 month application period. The Portal will be visible in a PURPLE BOX. Please follow instructions carefully for REGISTERING on the Portal and MAKING AN APPLICATION. It is essential to keep in mind that accommodation for all eligible students is determined by a LOTTERY and your chances of receiving a room are the same regardless of when you apply during this one month time frame.
- We are pleased to offer Alcohol/Substance Free & Quiet Housing options, please indicate your accommodation preference at the time of booking. Please indicate accommodation preferences at the time of booking on the portal. We will endeavour to allocate prefered options however, accommodaiton is strictly subject to availibility.
- Booking Deposits will be processed by debit or credit card via the Accommodation Portal.
- If the deposit is not processed, the provisional reservation will be cancelled.
- If all places are filled in the interim, Campus Accommodation (UCC) DAC is not obliged to provide accommodation.
- Applications are processed by a Random Selection Lottery. All applications received during the application period will be included in the Lottery.
- Please note that this is an application for accommodation and not a contractual agreement. Campus Accommodation (UCC) DAC acting through its management reserves the right to decline an application.
- We will endeavour to provide you with your preference however this may not always be possible, i.e. we do not guarantee who your apartment mates will be, we do not guarantee an en-suite room nor do we guarantee a specific apartment.
- Any student who is in "twin room" accommodation must accept that Management reserves the right to refill any vacant beds as they see fit.
- Management reserve the right to ask all tenants to move to alternative accommodation if there is an ongoing dispute between tenants.
- Please note that if a student is over 18 the Licence Agreement is between the student and Campus Accommodation and not between the parent or guardian and Campus Accommodation. In relation to any issues arising the student must make contact with Campus Accommodation rather than asking their parent or guardian to do so.
- If a student is under 18 then the Licence Agreement must be signed by a parent or guardian. If there are any issues arising then Campus Accommodation will involve the parent/guardian in all discussions.
- Keys/key cards will not be issued to any student who has not completed the online induction prior to arrival. In addition all relevant rent and utilities must be paid before keys or key cards can be issued.
- Payments are processed online; Booking Deposits are taken via debit or credit card. Rent payments are taken online by Credit Card or debit cards. International students are required to submit rent payments by bank transfer. Due to limits placed on Debit Cards by banks, there is usually a daily limit on debit cards, this is outside our control. Alternatively rent can be paid by cheque/draft or wire transfer. Payment is not credited unless cleared by the bank. In the case of a wire transfer the student name and complex initials must be included in the narrative. If not, and the bank must investigate, bank charges of €7.50 will apply.
- In the event of a refund being due, the obligation is on the student to provide all the relevant information, such as bank information or where cheques are issued, the current address, in order that the refund may be completed. Failure to provide correct information may result in the delay, or additional charges being applied.
- Management reserve the right to charge outstanding amounts against the deposit. Items include underpayment of rent, cleaning charges, damages, unpaid fines, electricity overuse etc.
- A Fair Usage Policy applies with regard to electricity consumption, please review the policy in the Licence Agreement on the portal.
Incoming First Years 2026/2027
- Applications for Incoming First Years 2026/2027 are accepted for the occupancy period August 29th, 2026 to May 15th, 2027.

Any student who confirms a room and is subsequently offered a 2nd round/3rd round offer in another ÉîÒ¹ÑÇÖÞ¸£Àû¾Ã¾Ã will not be refunded their deposit.
- Cancellation/Confirmation for bookings made by Incoming First Years 2026/27 must be made via email to arrive before 10am on TBC. The email must be sent to the student’s first choice of complex as per their application form. Cancellation before or on this date will result in Campus Accommodation retaining €50 as an administration fee. Cancelling after this date results in the total loss of the booking deposit. In the event of a refund being due the obligation is on the student to provide all the relevant information, such as bank information or where cheques are issued, current address, in order that the refund may be completed. Failure to provide correct information may result in the delay, or additional charges being applied.
- First Years - Payment dates are TBC for instalment one and TBC for instalment two. Non 1st Year student payment dates are TBC and TBC, please note, If monies have not been received on the due dates, UCC Campus Accommodation reserves the right to invalidate the application.
Full Year International, Postgraduate and non fresher undergrads
- Full Year International, Postgraduate, Non First Year Undergraduates Accommodation: August 29, 2026 - May 15, 2027 (37 weeks).
- Part Year Bookings are not accepted at UCC Campus Accommodaton.

US Early Starts Full Year, US Early Starts Autumn Semester Only, Spring Semester and Erasmus
Early-start Accommodation is strictly subject to availibility. Please contact us by email to confirm availibility. Payment dates are subject to arrival date and availibility.
