10.1 Dynamics of continuous media

Start by using a Custom materials (wood, ice, brick and aluminum). When an object is immersed in water, the volume of water displaced is indicated so the volume of the object can be recorded. Materials that float can be pushed under the water surface using the mouse.

Bodies having the same mass but different volumes and densities may then be studied. Similarly, the simulation also allows the study of bodies with the same volume (but different masses and densities) and bodies with the same density (but different masses and volumes)

Finally, try to determine the density of each of the five Mystery bodies (A - E) by comparing the measurement you obtain with those in the table provided.
