| The gravitational force between laboratory sized objects is so small that bench top experiments are difficult and time consuming (one such experiment is discussed in Section 7.5 of Understanding Physics). The PhET simulation , however, is useful for giving some feel for the strength of the force between objects of mass less than 100 kg a few metres apart from each other. |
