Chapter 6 Many-body interactions

Chapters 3, 4 and 5 dealt with what happens when an external force acts on a single body.  In this chapter the laws of motion are extended so that they apply to a system of particles (that is, comprising two or more bodies) where there may be a force of interaction between individual particle as well as extenal forces on each.  The concepts of mechanical energy and angular momentum are extended to systems of particles.
