10.7 Fluid dynamics; the Bernoulli equation

 

Two short YouTube videos illustrate the difference between streamline (laminar) and turbulent flow in a pipe. In the videos a red dye is being inserted; in the the flow is laminar while in the turbulence sets in as the flow rate is increased.
